2020 Chinese Language Awards Night
The CLTASA Chinese Language Awards are a fantastic way to reward and encourage our students’ language learning achievements. Award winners and their parents attend an inspirational evening of celebration and encouragement for Chinese language learning. Each winner will receive a prize and a certificate.
Date: Friday 27th November 2020 - 5.30 to 7.30 pm

$30 per nominee (student of CLTASA member teachers) or
$50 per nominee (student of non-CLTASA member teachers)
Each school can nominate ONE primary and ONE secondary student according to the following criteria:
1. A non-native learner studying Chinese as a second language
2. Language skills but not necessarily the top academic student
3. Enthusiasm for Chinese studies
4. Knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture

Start on Monday 12th October (Week 1 Term 4)
Close on Wednesday 18th November (Week 6 Term 4)
We invite Chinese language teachers to attend the ceremony. Please see the invitation letter here.
We require the teacher to be the responsible person to register for any attendees associated with the nominated student.
Step 1: Nominate your student/s, receive ticket for each nominated student and pay the fees
Step 2: Invite parents with the invitation letter (click here to download), RSVP for parents and all attendees and receive tickets. This RSVP applies to teachers, family members, guests, performers etc) or any attendees associated with the nominated student* (Electronic or printed tickets must be presented on the day)

*only ONE family member can attend with the award receiver due to the COVID19 restriction of the venue.

Please practice good hygiene: cover your month when coughing, wash hands or use hand sanitizer often.
Keep 1.5 metres distance from others wherever and whenever possible, and follow COVID-Marshalls' instruction.
