The Chinese Language Teachers Association of South Australia (CLTASA) is excited to announce its Annual Chinese Language Teachers' Conference, to be held on Saturday, 2nd September 2023 during Week 6 Term 3. This conference provides a valuable opportunity for Chinese language teachers to come together to share their experiences, knowledge, and best practices for teaching Chinese.
The conference features a range of informative and engaging sessions covering topics such as engaging students, innovative teaching techniques, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, and to connect with other members of the Chinese language teaching community.

Registration is open to all interested individuals, including CLTASA Full Members, CLTASA Pre-service Members, and non-members.

Date: Saturday 2nd September Term 3
8:30 am-5:00 pm (Registration: 8:00-8:30 a.m.)
Conference dinner: 6:00 pm-8:30pm
Venue: TBC (The venue is yet to be confirmed, but further details will be provided closer to the event.)

CLTASA Full Members: $140 (Evening event included) or $100 (Evening event excluded)

CLTASA Pre-service Teacher Members: $90 (Evening event included) or $50 (Evening event excluded)

Non-members: $190 (Evening event included) or $150 (Evening event excluded)

We kindly request that all teachers, presenters and invited guests register on TryBooking for catering purposes. After receiving the registration information, CLTASA will email an invoice to the school teacher for payment purposes.
CALL FOR PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS
CLTASA invites interested individuals to submit papers and presentations for the Annual Chinese Language Conference. The conference seeks submissions on best practices in teaching Chinese, innovative teaching techniques, and student engagement strategies. To apply, complete the online form on CLTASA website https://www.cltasa.org/2023-state-conference by Monday, 24th July 2023 (Week 1 Term 3). Successful applicants will be notified during the week. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge with other Chinese language teachers and contribute to the conference's success.
