The Chinese Language Teachers’ Association of South Australia (CLTASA) aims to promote the learning of Chinese language and culture in South Australia and is also affiliated with the Chinese Language Teachers' Federation of Australia (Inc.) (CLTFA). It was established in 1985 and is governed by The CLTASA Constitution.
We aim to support establishing and sustaining quality Chinese programs, teacher education and professional development, and acts as a voice for teachers, relating to all aspects of teaching and learning about Chinese languages and cultures.
We hold one professional development in Term 1 and one in Term 2, State Conference in Term 3 and Language Awards Night in Term 4. We also hold and support other events.
